Defined by the constitution of the World Health Organization, health is a state of complex physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. Later this definition was upgraded to “health is a resource for everybody life, not the object of living” and “health is a positive concept emphasizing social and personal resources, as well as physical capacities” in 1986.

Health generally deals with two aspects mental health and physical heath. Physical health which deals with a good bodily health and physical fitness of a person comprise of proper diet & nutrition, proper rest for physical recovery where as the mental health of the person refers to the psychological and emotional well-being.

Human biology, lifestyle, environment and health care are the four major determinants of health of a person, according to the suggestions given by the LaLonde report. One can improve and make advancements in maintaining health through intelligent and efforts lifestyle chosen by any individual along with the application and use of health science. To keep a check on the health of children and infants in many developing countries, the quality of water constitutes to be an important environmental factor. So, everybody should maintain a good physical health to keep their minds also healthy.
